The exhibition Pending Panorama consists of a wall sculpture made primarily of metal and glass, four sculptures constructed from MDF and plywood, and a publication containing a series of texts and photographs.
Both the metal structure on the wall and the wooden structures incorporate long, narrow "gaps" within them. From the grooves in the wood to the plastic sliding door profiles, and the spaces between wooden sculptures, these elements all suggest the potential for things to be inserted, moved, or shifted.
The linear arrangement of the space implies not fixation, but the potential for expansion—structures that can be relocated or reconfigured according to need. This panoramic line can be read as a visualization of past, present, and future; a reconstruction of memory; and an assemblage of internal and external landscapes.
